Application settings
This tab controls the startup settings for Headwind GSM modem driver and some other settings.
The following options are available:
- Launch application at startup - set this flag to launch Headwind GSM modem driver when the
operating system starts;
- Show bubble tip after start - enable or disable a welcome message after start;
- Show welcome screen after start - enable or disable a welcome screen after start;
- Auto-connect after start - when checked, an automatic connection with the modem is established
after start;
- Disable bubble tips - uncheck to disable notifications on incoming SMS and errors;
- Save handled SMS in inbox - controls whether handled incoming SMS are saved in inbox;
- Notify on failed SMS - when SMS is not sent, you get the balloon tip with an
error message;
- Short number type - defines the default type of number (ToN) for short numbers (see
"Send SMS" for details);
- Long number type - defines the default type of number (ToN) for long numbers (see
"Send SMS" for details);
- Log level - "None" disables the modem log, "Errors" allows to output only error messages,
"All" means the debug mode (in the debug mode, all AT commands and modem replies are written in the log,
this mode not recommended when Headwind GSM modem driver is intensively used);
- Clear log - clears the current log file.
