Setting up a virtual serial port using a BlueSoleil Bluetooth driver
- Plug the Bluetooth dongle in the USB port of your computer.

- Switch on Bluetooth capability on your mobile phone. A small Bluetooth icon must appear on the
screen of the phone. On some devices, a discovery mode must be turned on before the
connection.
- Click the Bluetooth icon in a tray by right mouse button. If a BlueSoleil Windows driver
is installed, you must see the popup menu shown in the figure.

- Select "Explore Bluetooth Places" menu item. An explorer-like window will appear.
Find your device in this window, click it by right mouse button and select "pair".

- Choose a code consisting of some numbers and type it in the window and on your device.

- Double-click the device. The list of services will be opened. Find a "Bluetooth serial port"
service, click it by right mouse button and select "Connect".

- The device must be now connected to the computer. The name of a virtual serial port
(COMn) is written in the BlueSoleil window. Remember this name, it must be entered in
Headwind GSM modem driver.
